1 Hour Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention and Training

Mandatory Beginning for renewals after 1/1/2020

All Illinois licensees that are subject to a continuing education requirement must complete a 1 hour course in sexual harassment prevention training. Completing this 1 hour course may be counted towards the minimum credit hours required for continuing education.

The course includes:

• • An explanation of sexual harassment
  • Examples of conduct that constitutes unlawful sexual harassment
  • A summary of federal and state statutory provisions, including remedies available to victims of sexual harassment
  • A summary of the responsibilities of employers for prevention, investigation, and corrective measures of sexual harassment.
