Michigan Chiropractic Continuing Education Credit Hours Requirement – Michigan requires 30 hours per 2 years.

Michigan Online Credit Hours allowed – Michigan accepts 15 hours of Online Continuing Education courses per renewal period. The Michigan Board of Chiropractic allows a maximum of 12 hours of continuing education in a 24 hour period.

The following Michigan Chiropractic Board approved 5 hour course satisfies the mandatory requirement for 1 hour Sexual Boundaries, 1 hour Ethics, and 1 hour of Pain Management.

Michigan Mandatory Hours Required

  • 1 hour of pain and symptom management
  • 1 hour of sexual boundaries
  • 1 hour of ethics
  • 2 hours of physical measures and 2 hours on the performance and ordering of tests – must be done at a live, in person program. Michigan also requires a one time course in Human Trafficking this is not to be included in continuing education hours.

Michigan CE requirements are subject to change. Licensee’s are responsible for being up to date with the Michigan CEU requirements.
